Light Microscopy Imaging System is based upon the OPACS (Object Picture Archiving Communication System) technology, which provides functionalities such as:

The prime objective of the CIT-OPACS is to provide computer based archival of images and data in either centrally or distributed environments. This will provide local or remote users with retrieval of data.
