CIT's Flat Panel Based Digital Radiography Systems

CIT's Flat Panel Based Digital Radiography Systems enable products to be inspected using a CMOS-based flat panel detector with a 50 or 160 microns resolution. Radiographic images of the product under inspection are displayed within 10 seconds capture cycle.

This rapid acquisition of data enables the operator to interpret radiographs, generate reports, plan production, construction, and scheduling maintenance workflow. The immediate benefits apply to Condition Monitoring, Corrosion Assessment and Material Loss Assessment, as well as traceability to exacting QA standards.

The complete system solution consists of a high performance computer system including a 20.8" TFT high-resolution monochrome screen for viewing of Radiographs and associated data, a document scanner for facilitating the attachment of other report documents to the radiographic images, and photographic quality hard copy printouts. Archiving of data to DVD-RAM media for long-term storage is also provided.

DR7100 13x13 cm Flat Panel Based Digital Radiography System CIT’s DR7100 System is based upon using Amorphous Silicon Real Time Flat Panel Detector, Portable X-Ray Generator Unit (160kV or 225kV) and High Performance NDT Workstation.
